What's New in OneView Physician Quality 5.0.4

OneView 5.0.4 includes the renaming of the EHR incentive programs (MU) and the MIPS ACI category to Promoting Interoperability, PI. CMS published the IPPS Proposed Rule announcing the renaming as the “Promoting Interoperability (PI)” program.


The Submission Wizard is still disabled and will be available in an upcoming release near the end of the reporting year. We are making improvements prior to activating the Submission Wizard to allow for creating separate submissions for each category and for electronic submission for each category.


Here's a summary of what's new in this update:


New Features and Enhancements: (for all platforms unless specified)


Reports:

  • Reports have been updated to display when PI and CQM measures compile was last completed successfully.


 

  • Adjusted PI registry reporting to calculate performance points for active engagement with any registry and bonus points for an additional registry.
  • Renamed ACI reports to PI reports and removed old Medicaid Objective Measure reports.
  • For PI reports, we have included the submission options drop-down selection, so users can run Medicaid or MIPS PI results. Impact: If you previously created subscriptions to the Medicaid Objective Measures and/or MIPS ACI Summary reports, you will need to create a new subscription or edit your existing subscription.   • All linked PI measure specification documents have been updated to reflect the program name change.

MIPS Dashboard:

  • Fixed issue where MIPS Dashboard was displaying 0's for ACI Category on Summary and Details.
  • Added an additional drop-down selection for PI reporting periods that have been pre-compiled.



Manage Dictionaries:

  • Added a new dictionary called Exclude Failed Delivery Message Status that allows users to enter the Message Delivery Status Types that indicate failed messages that should be included in the Denominator but excluded from the Numerator (i.e. 'Locally Failed', 'Failed').  No action required from the site unless communication from the HISP to add new message types that indicate failure or not delivered.  This is just to provide transparency to what records are not being counted as an action in the numerator. Impact: No impact to HIE measures.
  • ALL: Corrected an issue with Exclude Email and Domain Dictionary where it was not recognizing multiple assigned Emails and/or Domains. Impact: Denominators will be lower if dictionary includes multiple Emails or Domains. Customer Support Ticket: #4146


Reports:

  • Corrected reports for CQMs to reflect 2 decimal places for performance rates.Customer Support Ticket: #4798
  • Updated the CQM Measure Performance and CQM Measure Performance By Provider to allow Users to define internal Benchmark thresholds for Dashboard reports. Customer Support Ticket: #3705
  • Updated CQM Reports to fix an issue with the achievement point calculations for the CQM category.
  • 6.15/Expanse Only: Corrected issue with CQM Payer Breakdown Report to work with NPI changes.


Promoting Interoperability (fka Advancing Care Information (ACI) and Objective Measures (OM)):

  • 6.15 and 6.0 Only: Med Reconciliation has a new ActivityEvent description: Order Continued on Discharge. Customer Support Ticket: #4386
  • Corrected an issue with the collection of the Initial Population for ambulatory only reporting to use Location Exclusion dictionary. Customer Support Ticket:#4853
  • HIE: Corrected issue where the HIE measure denominator numbers showed patients who were not in denominator. Impact: Denominators will be lower.Customer Support Ticket: #4870
  • MAT615 Only: Fixed an issue where EP_1 would have zeros in the denominator if there were no ambulatory meds. Impact: Denominator will increase if the site does not have ambulatory MEDS. Customer Support Portal Ticket: #5402


Clinical Quality Measures (CQM):

  • CMS-128: Fixed a bug in cumulative medication duration collection. This should improve measure performance for CMS128 at some sites. Impact to clients: Clients should see better performance for CMS128. Customer Support Ticket: #4951
