What's New in OneView Hospital Quality 5.0.5

Here's a summary of what's new in this update:


Version 5.0.5 adds the ability to compile and report 2018 Stage 3 PI measures with 2019 data for all MEDITECH platforms.


Product Roadmap: The next OneView Hospital Quality release will include support for 2019 PI measures and 2019 reporting period electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs) including the latest eCQM specifications from CMS.

New Features and Enhancements: (for all platforms unless specified)


Reporting:

  • Updated OneView settings to allow for viewing 2018 Stage 3 PI measures. Update your reporting stage in Hospital Settings.

Submission Wizard:

  • All Platforms: Corrected issue with locked submission not displaying dictionaries. Impact: Locked submission will now display dictionary items.
  • PEA_1: Corrected issue with the numerator in the PI Summary Report not matching what is displayed in the locked submission PI Summary Report. Impact: The numerator for validation reports and locked submission reports will now match. Customer Support Ticket: #6094


PI Measures:

  • Corrected issue with the PI Measure Summary report not rendering when selecting the “EHR Meaningful Use (ONLY) – Medicaid” option. Customer Support Ticket: #5785, #5779
  • HIE_3: Corrected an issue with Clinical Information Reconciliation where it was not accounting for no known meds. Impact: The numerator will increase.
  • MAGIC, CS, 60 Only: SM_1: Corrected issue with Secure Messaging returning no patients in the population. Impact: Secure Messaging patients will now show up.
  • eRx: Corrected an issue where Schedule 6 prescriptions were not automatically being included by default due to various Schedule 6 system naming conventions. Additional Schedule 6 naming conventions have been added by default. Impact: The denominator will increase if hospital has a Schedule 6 naming that wasn’t included. Customer Support Ticket: #5941
  • MAGIC and CS Only: PSE: Corrected an issue with patients not getting counted in the numerator if given PSE anytime during the visit, not just the last response. Impact: Numerator will increase. Customer Support Ticket: #2949


Clinical Quality Measures:

  • ED: Removed seconds from dates captured in the Initial Population data pull so that the ED calculations for observation measures match the correct visits. Impact: The observation minutes could change impacting the median value.
